Bagel Breakfast Pizzas on the Blackstone Griddle
Ingredients
1 pound breakfast sausage
6 eggs
Splash of milk
Blackstone Lumberjack seasoning (or your favorite seasoning blend)
3 bagels, sliced in half
2 cups shredded cheese (divided)
Instructions
Preheat your Blackstone griddle.
Cook 1 pound of breakfast sausage on the griddle, chopping it up into crumbles until fully cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk 6 eggs with a splash of milk and a sprinkle of Blackstone Lumberjack seasoning. Pour onto the griddle and cook scrambled-style until fluffy. Remove from heat.
While the sausage is cooking, place your bagels cut side down on the griddle and toast until golden.
To assemble, place the toasted bagel bottoms back on the griddle. Sprinkle each with a little shredded cheese.
Top with scrambled eggs and sausage. Add more cheese over the top.
Cover with a basting dome and let cook just long enough for the cheese to melt.
Place the bagel tops on and serve hot!
Final Thoughts & Tips
These bagel breakfast pizzas are the perfect balance of quick, fun, and hearty. Exactly what you need when you’re camping. They can be served as a full breakfast or even as a grab-and-go option for a busy morning at the campsite.
Tips:
Bring pre-cooked or pre-crumbled sausage to save even more time in the morning.
Mix and match cheeses. Cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack all work great.
Use everything bagels or jalapeño bagels for an extra punch of flavor.
If you don’t have a basting dome, a foil pan flipped upside down works perfectly to help the cheese melt.
