If you need an easy dessert to make on the Blackstone, this one is dangerously good. Blackstone Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll Sundaes are topped with warm buttery cinnamon-sugar peaches, vanilla ice cream, caramel, whipped cream, and chopped pecans.

It tastes like a peach cobbler and an ice cream sundae had a baby, and it’s surprisingly easy to make right at the campsite.

Why This Recipe Works for Camping

This is exactly the kind of camping dessert I love because almost everything comes straight from the grocery store and there’s very little prep involved.

Using Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls means there’s no dough to make, and smashing them flat on the Blackstone helps them cook much faster. Once those come off, you can cook the peaches on the same griddle and then let everyone build their own sundae.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls

  • Fresh peaches, cut into bite-size pieces

  • Butter

  • Brown sugar

  • Cinnamon sugar

  • Vanilla ice cream

  • Caramel sauce

  • Chopped pecans

  • Whipped cream

  • Extra cinnamon sugar for topping

How to Make Blackstone Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll Sundaes

1. Cook the Cinnamon Rolls

Preheat your Blackstone griddle over low to medium-low heat.

Place the cinnamon rolls directly onto the griddle. As they begin to cook, use a griddle press or spatula to smash them flat.

Cook until golden brown and cooked through, flipping as needed. Keeping the heat lower gives the inside time to cook without burning the outside.

Remove the cinnamon rolls from the griddle and set aside.

2. Cook the Peaches

Add butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon sugar directly to the griddle.

Add the cut peaches and toss them in the butter and sugar mixture.

Cook until the peaches are warm and tender and the brown sugar has created a sweet, buttery sauce around them.

Remove from the griddle.

3. Build the Sundaes

Place one smashed cinnamon roll on a plate.

Top with:

  • Vanilla ice cream

  • Warm cooked peaches

  • Caramel drizzle

  • Chopped pecans

  • Whipped cream

  • A dusting of cinnamon sugar

Serve immediately while the peaches and cinnamon roll are still warm and the ice cream is just starting to melt.

Tips for Cooking This on the Blackstone

Keep the heat low. Cinnamon rolls have quite a bit of sugar in them, so they can brown quickly. Low to medium-low heat gives the dough time to cook all the way through.

Smash those cinnamon rolls. Flattening them isn't just for looks. It helps them cook faster and gives you a nice wide base for all of those toppings.

Don't overcook the peaches. You want them tender and warm but still holding their shape.

Serve them right away. The warm peaches and cinnamon roll with the cold vanilla ice cream are what make this dessert so good.

Easy Ingredient Swaps

You can easily make these your own. Swap the pecans for walnuts, use a different flavor of ice cream, or leave the nuts off completely.

You could also use canned or frozen peaches when fresh peaches aren't available. Just make sure to drain any extra liquid before adding them to the griddle.

Why I Love Making These at the Campsite

Camping desserts don't need to be complicated. I already use my Blackstone for so many of our campsite meals, so being able to make dessert on it too means I don't need another pan or appliance.

And this one looks like you put way more work into it than you actually did.

Warm smashed cinnamon rolls, buttery cinnamon-sugar peaches, melting vanilla ice cream, caramel, whipped cream, and pecans? This one is definitely going into the camping dessert rotation.
